Pay with crypto
Top up your euro balance with USDT (TRC20) or TRX on the TRON network, step by step, and what to do if a payment does not arrive.
Besides paying by card, you can top up your prepaid balance with USDT (TRC20) or TRX on the TRON network. Your balance stays in euros: you choose an amount in euros, and the console tells you exactly how much to send. Card payments through Stripe remain available; see Billing.

Top up with crypto
Start a crypto top-up
In the console, go to Billing → Top up. Choose USDT or TRX as the payment method and enter the amount in euros that you want to add to your balance.
Check the amount and the address
The console shows:
- the exact token amount to send. It includes a tiny unique fraction that identifies your payment, so it is rarely a round number;
- a TRON deposit address and a QR code for it;
- how long the exchange rate stays locked: 60 minutes from the start of the top-up.
Send the exact amount on TRON
From your wallet or exchange, send exactly the amount shown, in the coin you chose, on the TRON network, within the 60 minutes. Copy the amount and the address from the console or scan the QR code rather than typing them.
If you send from an exchange, check that its withdrawal fee is not deducted from the amount you enter: the amount that arrives has to match the amount shown.
Wait for the credit
The payment is detected on-chain automatically. Once the transaction is confirmed, your balance is credited within a few minutes, and you receive a receipt as for a card payment.
Only send USDT or TRX, and only on the TRON network. A payment in another coin, on another network (for example Ethereum or BNB Smart Chain) or with a different amount is not credited automatically.
If something went wrong
A payment that does not match your top-up is not credited automatically. This is the case when you sent:
- a different amount from the one shown, more or less;
- a different coin from the one you chose;
- on a network other than TRON;
- after the 60 minutes had run out.
Contact support through a ticket in the console and include the transaction hash (also called transaction ID or TXID, shown in your wallet or exchange) together with the amount, the coin and the time you sent it.
Questions and answers
Which coins and networks can I use?
USDT as a TRC20 token and native TRX, both on the TRON network. No other coins or networks are accepted.
What is the minimum top-up?
The equivalent of 5 USDT (US$5) per top-up. The console shows the euro amount and the token amount before you pay.
Are there any fees?
Odinex charges no fee for crypto top-ups. The TRON network fee for your transaction is handled by your wallet or exchange, as for any transfer; it must not reduce the amount that arrives.
How long does it take?
The payment is detected automatically and your balance is credited within a few minutes after the transaction is confirmed on the TRON network.
Why is the amount not a round number?
The token amount contains a tiny unique fraction. It tells us which top-up a payment belongs to, so send the amount exactly as shown, including every decimal place.
What happens if I need more than 60 minutes?
The exchange rate and the token amount are valid for 60 minutes. If you cannot send in time, start a new top-up to get a current rate and a new amount.
I sent the wrong amount or used the wrong network. What now?
The payment is not credited automatically. Contact support with the transaction hash; see If something went wrong.
Can I get a refund?
No. Crypto top-ups are non-refundable and cannot be paid back to a wallet. The credit stays on your account for future usage; otherwise the same rules apply as to the balance from a card top-up. See the Terms of Service, section 5.
Is my balance kept in crypto?
No. Your balance is always in euros. The token amount is converted at the exchange rate locked when you started the top-up, and resources are charged from the euro balance as usual.
Do I need to verify my identity?
No. A verified email address is all you need, as for every top-up.
