odx server

Manage servers

odx server add-label

Add labels to a server

Usage:
  odx server add-label [--overwrite] <server> <key=value>... [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help        help for add-label
      --overwrite   overwrite labels that already exist

odx server attach-to-network

Attach a server to a private network

Usage:
  odx server attach-to-network --network <network> <server> [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help             help for attach-to-network
      --ip string        fixed IP address inside the network
  -n, --network string   network name or ID (required)
      --no-wait          do not wait for the action to finish

odx server change-type

Change the type of a server (the server must be off)

Usage:
  odx server change-type [--upgrade-disk] --type <server-type> <server> [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help           help for change-type
      --no-wait        do not wait for the action to finish
      --type string    new server type name or ID
      --upgrade-disk   grow the disk to the new type's size (prevents downgrades later)

odx server create

Create a server

Usage:
  odx server create [options] --name <name> --type <server-type> --image <image> --location <location> [flags]

Examples:
  odx server create --name web-1 --type t1 --image ubuntu-24.04 --location fra1 --ssh-key my-key
  odx server create --name db-1 --type t2 --image debian-13 --location fra1 --label role=db --network backend

Flags:
      --firewall stringArray         firewall name or ID applied before first boot (repeatable)
  -h, --help                         help for create
      --image string                 image name or ID (required)
      --label stringArray            label key=value (repeatable)
      --location string              location (region) name, e.g. fra1 (required)
      --name string                  server name (required)
      --network stringArray          private network name or ID to attach (repeatable)
      --no-wait                      do not wait for the action to finish
  -o, --output stringArray           output format: json or yaml
      --placement-group string       placement group name or ID
      --ssh-key stringArray          SSH key name or ID (repeatable)
      --start-after-create           start the server after creation (default true)

      --user-data-from-file string   read cloud-init user data from file (use - for stdin)
      --without-ipv4                 create without a public IPv4
      --without-ipv6                 create without a public IPv6

odx server create-image

Create a snapshot image of a server's disk

Usage:
  odx server create-image [--description <text>] <server> [flags]

Flags:
      --description string   image description
  -h, --help                 help for create-image
      --label stringArray    label key=value (repeatable)
      --no-wait              do not wait for the action to finish
      --type string          image type (only snapshot is supported) (default "snapshot")

odx server delete

Delete one or more servers

Usage:
  odx server delete <server>... [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help      help for delete
      --no-wait   do not wait for the action to finish

odx server describe

Describe a server

Usage:
  odx server describe <server> [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help                 help for describe
  -o, --output stringArray   output format: json or yaml

odx server detach-from-network

Detach a server from a private network

Usage:
  odx server detach-from-network --network <network> <server> [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help             help for detach-from-network
  -n, --network string   network name or ID (required)
      --no-wait          do not wait for the action to finish

odx server disable-backup

Disable backups and delete all existing backups

Usage:
  odx server disable-backup <server> [flags]

Flags:

odx server disable-protection

Disable resource protection for a server

Usage:
  odx server disable-protection <server> delete [flags]

Flags:

odx server disable-rescue

Disable the rescue system

Usage:
  odx server disable-rescue <server> [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help      help for disable-rescue
      --no-wait   do not wait for the action to finish

odx server enable-backup

Enable daily backups (+20 % of the server price)

Usage:
  odx server enable-backup <server> [flags]

Flags:

odx server enable-protection

Enable resource protection for a server

Usage:
  odx server enable-protection <server> delete [flags]

odx server enable-rescue

Enable the rescue system for the next boot

Usage:
  odx server enable-rescue [--ssh-key <key>...] <server> [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help                  help for enable-rescue
      --no-wait               do not wait for the action to finish
      --ssh-key stringArray   SSH key name or ID to inject into the rescue system (repeatable)

odx server ip

Print the public IP address of a server

Usage:
  odx server ip [--ipv6] <server> [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help   help for ip
  -6, --ipv6   print the IPv6 address

odx server list

List servers.

Columns: age, backup_window, created, floating_ips, id, image, ipv4, ipv6, labels, location, locked, name, placement_group, primary_disk_size, private_net, protection, rescue_enabled, status, type, volumes

Usage:
  odx server list [options] [flags]

Aliases:
  list, ls

Flags:
  -h, --help                 help for list
  -o, --output stringArray   output format: json, yaml, noheader, columns=a,b,c (repeatable)
  -l, --selector string      label selector, e.g. env=prod,!tmp

odx server metrics

Show a summary of server metrics

Usage:
  odx server metrics --type cpu|disk|network [--start <time>] [--end <time>] <server> [flags]

Examples:
  odx server metrics --type cpu web-1
  odx server metrics --type network --start 2026-10-09T08:00:00Z --end 2026-10-09T09:00:00Z web-1

Flags:
      --end string           end time (RFC 3339, default now)
  -h, --help                 help for metrics
  -o, --output stringArray   output format: json or yaml (raw metrics)
      --start string         start time (RFC 3339) or duration ago, e.g. 1h (default 1h)
      --step int             seconds between points (minimum 10)
      --type string          metric type: cpu, disk or network (required)

odx server poweroff

Cut power to a server (hard stop)

Usage:
  odx server poweroff <server> [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help      help for poweroff
      --no-wait   do not wait for the action to finish

odx server poweron

Start a server

Usage:
  odx server poweron <server> [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help      help for poweron
      --no-wait   do not wait for the action to finish

odx server reboot

Reboot a server gracefully

Usage:
  odx server reboot <server> [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help      help for reboot
      --no-wait   do not wait for the action to finish

odx server rebuild

Rebuild a server from an image (all data on the disk is lost)

Usage:
  odx server rebuild --image <image> <server> [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help           help for rebuild
      --image string   image name or ID (required)
      --no-wait        do not wait for the action to finish

odx server remove-label

Remove labels from a server

Usage:
  odx server remove-label <server> (--all | <key>...) [flags]

Flags:
  -a, --all    remove all labels
  -h, --help   help for remove-label

odx server request-console

Request a web console (prints the WebSocket URL)

Usage:
  odx server request-console <server> [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help                 help for request-console
      --no-wait              do not wait for the action to finish
  -o, --output stringArray   output format: json or yaml

odx server reset

Reset a server (hard reboot)

Usage:
  odx server reset <server> [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help      help for reset
      --no-wait   do not wait for the action to finish

odx server reset-password

Reset the root password of a server (needs the guest agent)

Usage:
  odx server reset-password <server> [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help      help for reset-password
      --no-wait   do not wait for the action to finish

odx server set-rdns

Set the reverse DNS entry of a server's primary IP

Usage:
  odx server set-rdns (--hostname <hostname> | --reset) [--ip <ip>] <server> [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help              help for set-rdns
  -r, --hostname string   hostname for the PTR record
  -i, --ip string         IP address (default: the primary IPv4)
      --no-wait           do not wait for the action to finish
      --reset             reset the PTR record to the default

odx server shutdown

Shut down a server gracefully (ACPI)

Usage:
  odx server shutdown <server> [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help      help for shutdown
      --no-wait   do not wait for the action to finish

odx server ssh

Connect to a server with ssh

Usage:
  odx server ssh [options] <server> [-- <ssh arguments>...] [flags]

Examples:
  odx server ssh web-1
  odx server ssh -u admin web-1 -- uptime

Flags:
  -h, --help          help for ssh
      --ipv6          connect over IPv6
  -p, --port int      port (default 22)
  -u, --user string   user name (default "root")

odx server update

Update a server

Usage:
  odx server update [options] <server> [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help          help for update
      --name string   new server name
