Acceptable Use Policy
What you may and may not do with Odinex Cloud.
Last updated: [Date]
This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everything you run on Odinex Cloud, including what your own customers and users do with your services.
Not allowed
- Anything illegal under [applicable law], or content that infringes the rights of others.
- Sending spam or unsolicited bulk email, or operating open mail relays.
- Malware, phishing, botnets, command-and-control servers or hosting stolen data.
- Attacks on other systems: denial-of-service attacks, unauthorized port or vulnerability scanning, brute-force logins, or exploiting vulnerabilities without the owner's permission.
- Operating open proxies, open DNS resolvers or other services that can be abused for amplification attacks.
- Getting around limits, suspensions or billing, for example by creating several accounts.
- Interfering with the platform, other customers' resources, or our network.
- [Review: decide on activities such as cryptocurrency mining, public VPN or proxy services, and adult content.]
Fair use
Each server type includes a monthly traffic allowance. To keep the network fast for everyone, we may limit bandwidth of servers that cause unusually high sustained load. [Review: describe the limits that apply.]
Reporting abuse
Report abuse coming from Odinex Cloud to [Abuse email]. Please include the IP address, the time with time zone, and evidence such as log excerpts or email headers.
What happens when there is a problem
When we receive a well-founded report about your resources, we forward it to you as a support ticket with a deadline to respond and fix the problem. If you don't respond in time, or in severe or urgent cases, we may stop the affected resources or suspend your account without prior notice. Repeated or serious violations can lead to termination.
