Odinex Cloud

Price comparison

The same cloud server for up to 84% less than AWS, Azure and Google Cloud

We put the list price of a Frankfurt cloud server with the same vCPUs and memory side by side. Odinex includes an NVMe disk and 20 TB of traffic in that price; the hyperscalers bill both on top. Prices checked on 11 October 2026.

What the price includes

Fewer line items on the bill

The instance price is only part of a hyperscaler bill. Disks, public IPv4 addresses and outbound traffic are charged on top.

Predictable

Hourly billing with a monthly cap: a server never costs more than its monthly price, and you top up in advance, so there is no surprise invoice.

Complete

Volumes, private networks, NAT gateways, firewalls, floating IPs and load balancers in the same location, with one API for all of them.

Portable

Standard Linux images, cloud-init, a REST API, a CLI and a Terraform provider. Nothing ties your setup to proprietary services.

How we compared

Public on-demand list prices for Linux in each provider’s Frankfurt region, checked on 11 October 2026, for 730 hours a month and without VAT. Discounts for one- or three-year commitments, spot capacity and free tiers are not included. Odinex prices are in euros, the others in US dollars as published: because a euro is worth more than a dollar, the real difference is larger than the percentages shown. Prices change; check the providers’ own pages:

Run the same workload for a fraction of the price

Price comparison questions

Clear answers about location, infrastructure and billing.

Why is Odinex Cloud cheaper than AWS, Azure and Google Cloud?
Hyperscalers price for hundreds of managed services, global networks and enterprise support contracts, and charge separately for disks, IPv4 and outbound traffic. Odinex focuses on the building blocks most applications need, servers, storage, networks and load balancers, and puts the disk and 20 TB of traffic in the server price.
Are these the same kind of servers?
They are comparable general-purpose virtual machines with the same number of vCPUs and the same memory. AWS t3, Azure B-series, Google e2 and the Odinex s-family all use shared vCPUs. The DigitalOcean 16 GB plan in the table has dedicated vCPUs because DigitalOcean has no shared-CPU plan with 4 vCPUs and 16 GB.
Do the prices include VAT, disks and traffic?
All prices exclude VAT. Odinex and DigitalOcean include a system disk; AWS, Azure and Google Cloud bill block storage separately. Odinex includes 20 TB of outbound traffic per server; the hyperscalers charge per GB after a small free allowance.
Can I move from AWS, Azure or DigitalOcean to Odinex?
Yes. Odinex runs standard Linux images with cloud-init and SSH keys, so the same provisioning scripts work. If you use Terraform, the Odinex Terraform provider maps servers, networks, firewalls and load balancers one to one.
